26 miles in the Surrey Hills - with approx 3,000 feet of ascent - visiting places associated with the founding of the LDWA - Blatchford Down, Steer's Field, Tanners Hatch Youth Hostel, Pitch Hill toposcope and the old Peaslake Post Office. Original route devised by Tony Youngs.
There is an entry cost with the application, and forms can be downloaded from Founders Challenge Form a few months before the walk.
Refreshments are available at checkpoints throughout the walk and at the finish. At the finish you will be given a certificate.
